One of many John
and Gina concepts, JP&G Designs is a new start for an old family business, originally founded as LP Construction by Louis
Procaccino in 1954. Business ran in an entirely different way back
then, contracts were a handshake and floor plans were scribbled on a
diner napkin and taken to the county for approval.
John learned the
trades of construction in his youth by working in the field, digging
trenches, setting block, framing walls, finishing carpentry and
laying brick whenever Lou would let him. He grew up in the industry
and found a passion for designing custom homes. His work can be found
in the foothills of Tucson, Arizona residing in Skyline Country Club,
Finisterra, Tucson Country Club, Oro Valley Country Club, Country
Club Heights, Rocking K Ranch, and 14 homes in Catalina Foothills
Estates #10, he also designed and built the Canada Del Oro Medical
Plaza located in the Northwest Hospital medical community.

In 2000 John
decided to take a break from building and try his hand at building
inspection in Las Vegas, historical renovation in Portland Oregon and
water and mold remediation in Mississippi after hurricane Katrina,
you could say he was a busy guy!
Gina's building
career started much differently than her father's, she got
comfortable on the job site at a very young age.. selling coffee and
donuts out of the truck bed early Saturday mornings with her little
sister.
She moved home to
Tucson in 2008 and the two of them decided to start building together
just like John and Lou did in the good old days. The building climate
in Tucson had changed dramatically in 2007 so any job was fair game
and it was a great time for Gina to learn trades the same way John
had many years before.. with hands on field work experience ranging
from bathroom remodels, room additions to entire home renovations,
she's pretty much experienced it all.
Our focus now is to
build new, from the ground up. We're a team that embraces design and
both have a passion for bringing fresh concepts to life.
